How to Format Your Nextel i930

To format your Nextel i930 and set it back to factory settings, do this.

**Warning**

Remember, we suggest you backup your phone, then do this.

Press and hold the left soft key when the phone is off. Power on the phone while holding down the left soft key and then press ok. This will reset your phone. You will lose everything.

if i format my i930 ,, do i have to unlock it again later?

That isnt working for me I know im doing something wrong, the phone is off, i hold down the left key while at the same time holding down thr power button, should i continue to hold down the left key until the white screen comes up?

turn off phone... press and hold the left soft key for 3 seconds... now press the power button... keep holding the soft key and wait for the white format sceen and hit ok. that`s it.

Lol sorry thank you, also, I purchased a subscription and downloaded nunlock and Im waiting for a key. I am assuming I need a key in order to decert

hi i just got me a new i930 9-13-2006 i tryed to Decertify it with NUnlocker.exe. well i mest up, my phone is still not decertifyed & now i have some one elses contacts. on top of that i can not sync it to the p.c.
i think if i reformat the phone i can start over. but maybe i am not doing something right. i need help. HELP PLEASE? i start with the phone off then press & hold the lift soft key ( that's the one for the cherp right?) then i puch the power button & hold it with the soft key tell the white sceen.
( i only see a blank white sceen for an 1 sic or so) when let them go & hit the ok button as fast as i can. i tryed it so many ways. what is the right way.

the left soft key is the one on the keypad used for the start menu it is located in the upper left of the keypad.....

ok ty for that part i think the phone is decerted im not fully sure but what disadvantages do i have if it's not?
