First housing change :)

Its nothing special compared to all these badass 860s around here. But it was my first, so I thought Id show it off. Thx for the tutorials here and Mikegabb for telling me how to get that damn ribbon off lol. Everything went smoothly.

Transparent blue i95. I thought the grey LCD panel looked a bit plain so I decided to use the old one even though it was a bit scratched.

I was gonna use this as a backup for my 275, but I have an 860 on the way so Ill probably sell it.

Re: First housing change :)

Yeah, I saw the tut on the 860 lol. I want to try changing its housing when I get it but it looks like a hell of a lot more work. Ill probably give it a try though...hopefully I wont tear it up.

My 275 was really easy but it aint a flip. The board, lcd, and camera all come out as one piece. No ribbons to disconnect at all. But the housings arent that great. I changed it to carbon fiber but changed it back to the OEM white cuz it looked much better lol.

Re: First housing change :)

I would suggest to practice on a fvew more phones before trying an 860. You should at least try to do 5 830s before even thinking about the 860 my man. But if you need help with it me and/or pumbaa can help you out.

Re: First housing change :)

Yeah it probably would help. You got any 830s you wanna loan me lol.
I got about 3 years of electronics (soldiering, circuit boards and shit like that) but never messed with phones. Itll probably be a while before I mess with the 860 anyway since itll be new. But thx for the offer, If I got any troubles this will be the first place I post.
