I have the contrast and birghtness on my i930 set so that when I work in my dark cave (A Television Quality Control Suite), I don't get blasted by bright light coming off the internal screen, but whenever I push a keypad button, the external screen immediately goes to 100% contrast and brightness with the backlight. Is there someone who has a mod to correct this and make the phone leave the user's settings alone? The only mod Nunlocker has is to kill the keypad lights which makes it hard for me to dial. I would like a mod that kills the bigger offender, the screen backlighting. Any takers for the challenge?

i wish i had something like this also. i would like for my screen to stay at the dim level and never go to the full on brightness.

does anyone know if this is possible?
