If you can follow that use the male end of the USB extension cable you clipped then splice it with male end of the phone charging cable you clipped. Red to Red Black to back, it's really simple. Then Plug it into any usb port. Your computer shouldn't recognize it, but thats fine the port always has 5v running through it at all times
Summary: splice male end of usb cable to male end of any motorola charging cable and now you have a cable that will charge your phone via usb.
Conversely: (might be repost) you can do this to your usb data cable
