Just got this shit, Fuckin tight ass phone!



Probably best Nextel phone out now, I mean once tha guy took it out of the box i wanted to grab it right out of his hands. Small + Compact, No chunky like that queer ass i930, Thing I Hated the most was he took tha T9 and inner faceplate stickers off which got me pretty pissed off lol. but anyways heres some pros + cons.

Pros
-Mp3 Player w/ Excellent Sound Quality
-Comes with 32mb TransFlash Card with USB Adapter
-1.3 Megapixel Camera
-DirecTalk
-Bluetooth Technology
-New Theme Added lol
-Audio Player
-New Picture Quality Added (Max)

Cons
-Flip Does not open easy.
-Camera takes 2 seconds to Load up
-My Info/ Other Users Info Doesnt automatically Show up
-Clip Looks like it will scratch the shit out of the phone
-External Screen doesnt have that good of quality, same as 860, I thought it would be better.

yupp but its stiff like it doesnt flip open easily, u gotta push hard into it. not its not officially released, it should be out november 1st, along with tha i930 being back on tha market.

Got mine today! Is the internal screen OLED? It is so bring and colorful I was thinking that it was, but cant find any information.

mp3 ringtones? same as tha 860, mp3s on tha player prolly 10-12 on tha transflash card that comes with tha phone.

the screen is way more clear
camcorder mode can go over the 15 or 30 sec barrier
the speaker is unbelieveable clear! very good sound
lol new ringtones..not the traditional one anymore
cons:
the bluetooth doesnt support a2dp (for stereo music headsets)
the bluetooth headset wont work with 2-way (you can hear the voice but you cant PTT with the call button)

i paid 272 with 2 year contract and upgrade fees and shipping included

the 32mb card that comes with the phone will store 4-6 mp3's i ordered my 512 off ebay for 65 shipped. it should be coming soon, that should hold nearly 100 songs

wrong, tha 32 mb transflash that comes with it holds about 16 songs so far. thats because i formatted mine just about right, u probly have CD Quality Mp3s on there which takes up all tha memory. tha correct format is 40 bit, 24000 hz, Joint Stereo, but lets not forget this is a review thread, if u have any questions for tha i870 post them here (http://69.57.181.162/~nexteln/showthread.php?p=50775#post50775).

That's awesome, im actually more interested in this phone than I was any other phone. I love it, one of my friends got it today. I like that the flip button is more concealed then the i860, just everything about it.

just wanted 2 add a couple things on how good tha zoom in is on this phone..

and how clear pics come out from if u take a pic of a tvshow..

Just got a new i870 this phone is pimpin looking but im a nextel noob like woah! so i have no idea what i can do with this phone but it looks sweet to the point where i can brag about it for a while. Glad to join the forums hopefully i'll learn more about this pimpin phone.
