Nextel has redesigned their site today and added 2 new phones. The i275 is the same as the i265 but with a comera. The i605 is a new rugged phone.

I'm not a big fan of candy bar phones but i like the look of the i605

:family: :family: :family:

yeah im not a fan of the candy bar styled phones... they just dont apeal to me, but it shows that nextel is starting to make progress with this list of phones that are "suposed" to come out between now and the end of the year

i just read that the i605 is the first phone that supports the new group connect which allows you to instantly set up talk groups right from your phone.

group connect has always been around but you had to set up talk groups in advance from the web site.

just noticed that the i275 supports off-network walkie talkie. i hope all new phones will.
