As people's lives become increasingly mobile and fast-paced, AT&T today unveiled its network expansion plans for Texas for the remainder of the year. As part of the expansion, AT&T plans to add more than 130 new cell sites throughout Texas in 2009. Some of these new cell sites will be located across larger metro areas, including Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth, El Paso, San Antonio and Sherman-Denison. The majority of the new cell sites, however, will be located in rural areas across the state.
