Once we have entered into flight mode we will go back to where we were.
Now go back to the STEP 1 folder in the file explorer and open it. You can see the
Restore_First.pbf file that we copied to the root directory of the SD Card and the
Sprite Backup for Smartphones.Highlight the SPRITE BACKUP FOR
SMARTPHONES and then press the OK button on the Keypad.
Alright finally getting somwhere. Now we have the Sprite Backup running.
If you initial screen looks different don't panic check the bottom of the screen
and you will see 2 buttons DONE and AUTHORISE hit the done button. Now
your screen should look the same as in the example...
Ok we now have the Sprite screen where we want it so hit MENU.
Now highlight RESTORE and press the OK button on the keypad.
Now the restore screen is up, make sure your settings are configured like
the ones in the example.
Once everything is configured properly hit RESTORE at the bottom left.
Now is a good time to put the phone into flight mode.
To do this simply press the power button and scroll down to
FLIGHT MODE and highlight it then press the OK button
on the keypad.......
Now the restore process will begin, sorry there are no screen shots for this part my software will
not permit it. But anyway the restore will continue for a few minutes and then the phone will tell you
that the restore is finished. At this point hit DONE at the bottom left. Now you will be prompted to
restart the phone, hit OK.
This restart should be automatic but if it does not automaticly restart you will have do it manually.
Once the phone has powered back up, go back to the file explorer and then
go back into the STEP 1 folder in the STORAGE CARD root directory. Once
inside the STEP 1 folder highlight the SPRITE BACKUP FOR SMARTPHONES.
Now with the SPRITE BACKUP FOR SMARTPHONES highlighted press MENU.
The scroll down to delete and hit the OK button on the keypad. It is very important
that this file is deleted it may cause a problem with step 2 if not deleted..
Using the file explorer go back to the Storage Card root directory, remember
when we copied the Restore_First.pbf file. Now find the Restore_First .pbf file
in the Storage Card root directory and highlight it.
While the Restore_First.pbf file is highlighted press MENU. Then scroll down to
DELETE and press the OK button on the keypad. Again leaving this file could
cause a problem with step 2.
Now we are ready for step 2. Find the STEP 2
folder using the file explorer it will be located just
under the STEP 1 folder. In the intrest of time
I am not going to take you all the way through
Step 2 just follow the steps for STEP 1 but use
the files in the STEP 2 folder.
When you are finished with Step 2 the phone will
be Decertified.........Enjoy.
